EVERY DOLLAR HELPS –
Aug. 31, 2026 – Today, Senator Webb delivered $150,000 to the Addiction Center of Broome County (ACBC) to support the construction of their new building. This presentation coincides with International Overdose Awareness Day, recognized annually on August 31.
ACBC is honored and so grateful to receive this funding from Senator Webb, which will be used to relocate our main office from 30 West State Street to 15 Charles Street,” said Carmela Pirich, Executive Director of the Addiction Center of Broome County. “The relocation will assist with adding new offices for therapeutic activities and a specialized treatment suite for children and adolescents who have been impacted by substance use disorder. Being able to expand our services will help fill a critical need in the Southern Tier.”
