March 5, 2020 – According to the Daily Mail, Demi tells Ellen โMy bulimia got really bad. I asked for help and I didnโt get the help that I needed. Iโm thinking to myself: โI am six years sober and I am miserable … why am I sober?โโ
Demi revealed that she felt she had no control over her own life, explaining โI lived a life for the past six years that I felt like wasnโt my own. My life, I just felt it was controlled by so many people around me.โ If I was in my hotel room at night they would take out my phone so I couldnโt call room service,โ Demi told Ellen. โIf there was fruit in my room they took it out because it was extra sugar.โ Now, however, Demi has said her situation is much different.
She tells Ellen โFor many years I didnโt even have a birthday cake. This year when I turned 27, I have a new team and Scooter Braun, my manager, gave me the best birthday cake.โ
