Feb. 27, 2020 – At the end of January, Jessica Simpson sat down with Hoda Kotb and revealed that she struggled with alcohol abuse in the past, even admitting that she was drunk during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in 2017. Still, that โweak momentโ wasnโt her rock bottom. That Halloween she filled her sparkly cup โto the rim with alcoholโ at 7 a.m. and drank continuously throughout the day.
โI was just dazed and confused and I just wanted to go to sleep,โ she told Hoda. โI didnโt take (my kids) trick or treating. I didnโt show up for my family.โ
